Rev. Fr. Steve Shott, O.S.F.S.

Father Shott was born to Anna and the late Stanley Shott of McDoo, PA. Father attended St. Kunegunda Church that serves the Polish Community of McAdoo. He attended Marian Catholic High School in Hometown, PA.

Father Professed His First Vows with Oblates in 1987 and was ordained to the Priesthood in June of 1995. He earned a BA in Education from De Sales University in 1989. He earned an MA in Theology from De Sales School of Theology in Washington, C.C. in 1995 and an MA in World History from Villanova University in 1996.

Father Steve is a member of the Oblates of St. Francis De Sales, a religious order dedicated to communicating the spirituality of the 17th century priest and bishop, St. Francis de Sales. "The chrism of the Oblates is to "Live Jesus." St. Francis de Sales, know as the Gentleman Saint, summed up his vision of the spiritual life in the simple words of Jesus, "Learn of me, for I am meek and humble of heart."

Father Shott taught history at Salesianum School in Wilmington, DE between 1989 - 1991 and again between 1995 - 2006. He has served as Assistant Principal and Dean of Studies between 1999 and 2004. Between 1996 and 2006, he also served as Chaplain to the Daughters and the Association of St. Francis de Sales in Wilmington, DE.

In July of 2006 - 2008, Father was assigned to Our Lady of Good Counsel (OLGC) in Vienna VA. Following that time, he served as Parochial Vicar at St. Ann Church in Naples, FL until 2010 when he returned to Our Lady of Good Counsel.

In August 2013 Father Shott arrived at St. Ann and was installed as the 16th Pastor on September 5, 2013.
